1973 4 speed Corvette

    1973 4 speed Corvette - $28,700

1973 Chevrolet Corvette in Dark Poly Blue - Iconic L82 Motor, 4 Speed Transmission, Factory Air, and T-Tops

The 1973 Chevrolet Corvette marked the end of an era in some ways. It was the last year for the chrome front bumper, making it a notable model in Corvette history. This was also the first year since 1964 that a convertible Corvette was not offered due to the implementation of new federal safety regulations.

Under the hood, the 1973 Corvette typically came equipped with a 350 cubic inch V8 engine, though some were equipped with a 454 cubic inch big-block engine. However, due to stricter emission regulations and the fuel crisis of the early 1970s, engine power was reduced compared to previous years.

The L82 was a high-performance engine option available for the 1973 Chevrolet Corvette. It was a step up from the standard engine offering, providing more power and enhanced performance. The L82 engine was a 350 cubic inch (5.7-liter) V8 that produced around 250 horsepower, which was a significant increase compared to the base engine of the time.

The L82 engine featured several upgrades over the standard engine, including a higher compression ratio, a more aggressive camshaft, and a better-breathing intake manifold. These improvements resulted in improved acceleration and overall driving dynamics, making the Corvette equipped with the L82 engine a more thrilling driving experience.

For enthusiasts seeking more performance from their Corvette, the L82 engine option was a popular choice, offering a balance of power, reliability,

    and driveability.

It remains a sought-after feature among collectors and

    enthusiasts of vintage Corvettes.

Styling-wise, the '73 Corvette retained the sleek lines and distinctive profile that it was known for. Despite the challenges of the era, the Corvette maintained its status as an American icon, blending performance and style.

This car has been well maintained and has the

first year of the L82 higher horsepower V8
